Grazie, The comment I made on that thread at the time was more of a wish list 'Alt+M' or View-Markers (would have been nice).
Photoshop does have that function to hide markers. View->Extra.

Well to me that is an absolute no brainier of a command that should be in SVP. This would be so helpful when one is working with a forest of markers (like I am) on the timeline. Maybe one for Vegasaur to add to their superb toolkit.

You could buy VASST Marker Maker for $9.95 USD and use the Load/Save Marker function to save the markers to a file, then delete them, then load them back when you want them again. You can save/load each type of marker separately. It's the next best thing since there is no way to actually hide them.
Another thing would be to move markers (more than one).
When changing the edits or clip order, the markers don't stick on the events.
Ripple effect could move them forward or backward, but that doesn't solve the issue entirely.
A 'lock marker on event' like the the lock envelope button would be cool.
