High Energy Edit? How would you . . .

OK, I've got 200 plus events in the Media Manger / Project Media - now, I have some really high energy music that I want to sequence to. Amongst all these clips are some great high energy movement, how would you edit? Edit to Regions within Trimmer? Then select from . . er . .where? Explorer wont show the thumbnail. Should I make Subbies from within trimmer?

It's about time I got the handle on this one!

Grazie

Create a bin in Project Media for the "High Energy" stuff.
Open the bin.
Drag 'n' drop the clips from either MM or Explorer in the Trimmer (it helps if you arrange your windows so you can see the Explorer and Trimmer windows at the same time).
Hit "I" and "O" to set your in and out points in the Trimmer.
Hit "R" to set a Region and name it.
Hit "C" to create the subclip (I can't remember if this is the default or if I reprogrammed my keyboard to do this). By default, it should name the clip the Region name and will load it into the bin you have open.

This way, you have the best of all worlds... regions, subclips and bins, all with just a few keystrokes!
