I can't see how that could happen. A DV "capture" is a straight digital transfer. Exactly the same PCM audio values that are on tape get transferred to the disk file. Could it be that the audio playback equipment in one case is different than the other? Here's one way to tell: transfer the file back to DV, and see if the high-frequency noise goes away. If so, it's either still there, but inaudible due to the reproduction equipment in the DV camera, or it's not there, and an artifact of the PC's playback system. Make sense?
