That was pretty handy to see that video. There was one part in there that I've been trying to do, and couldn't find out how to. Thanks to Washashore!!

Ya, unfortunately it didn't go over the highlight thing... Maybe it's some taboo subject or something... ;)

Well, I suppose I could just experiment with it and find out by trial and error... Doesn't seem like too much of a mystery... just wanted to see the official writeup.

I guess they figured it was self-explanatory.

Just try each one. You can see the highlighting directly on the menu workspace by going to View > Workspace Overlays > Show Button Masks.

One note regarding the Youtube video posted above, the author recommends using the NTSC DVD template in Vegas to render a file for DVD Architect. DON'T DO THAT! ;-)

Stick with the DVD Architect video stream template (hence the name) for the video. And then render the audio separately as WAV or AC3. Give the audio file the same name (other than the extension and save it to the same directory as the video file.

The NTSC DVD uses MPEG audio, which DVD Architect does not like and will not put on a DVD.

have you looked in the online help/manual? Pretty much everything you're asking is covered in there.

Yes, it doesn't appear to be in the manual... unless it's hidden somewhere I'm not looking. It's not in the index, and the only mention I saw was one sentence.

I'll give the manual another good reading. The same thing happened with the Space Across button. It's not in the index, nor could I find it where I thought it would be... but another forum poster mentioned to search for 'grid', and I'd find one section where it did explain it. Sure enough, he was right.

Not a biggie... As bStro rightfully points out, it's just a matter of trying them out.
