Highlighting tips?

Hey,

I've got my menu options, with a simple rectangle for the highlight. On my machine, doing the work, it looks fine. When I burn it and play it on one player, it looks fine. On another 2 players, the rectangle is shifted right about 25%. What am I doing wrong here?

And I'd like to use fancier things than rectangles, but the pngs I made following dirs in the docs look like trash. Any other tips?

This sounds like you have mixed aspect ratios. 25% is about the difference in offsets between 4:3 and 16:9 (highlight locations for buttons are an X/Y offset). Check to be sure you didn't create your DVDA project using the wrong aspect ratio and check to make sure your players (or TV) isn't defaulting to a different aspect ration.

Hey,

Yes, the player it works on is my 16:9 projector. The one it is weird on is a 4:3 tv. However, the other one it didn't work on was a 16:9 RPTV in a home theater store. I'll check, but I would have thought things would adjust themselves to be correct everywhere. You don't see any difference on commercial dvds.
