Hint: Looping MP4 Playback

I just learned this trick from a head Dev at Handbrake:

When encoding MP4 (AVC/h264) for player looping, such as VLC or desktop backgrounds (in my case a tablet), turn b-frames off altogether. The reason is normal b-frames take one extra frame on seek, and pyramid b-frames take two extra frames. Also, make sure your video is set for Fast Start or Web Optimized.

Following these steps should reduce the skip or pause at loop points to a maximum of one frame, or none at all on smarter players. Hope this helps someone.
