. . another 24 hours of nail biting anxiety! - So, Sony what happened this time? I don't mind your server switching my Quick Task bar icons over to Screenblast . . if that's what you do . . . but can't you then get the old boiler to switch my Properties back as they were? Just had to reset:

1 - Vegas

2 - Vegas Scripting

3 - VideoFactory

No big deal for me, but multiply this by - how many people access these forums? - then you gotta a lot of angst happenning . . . well it's up to you . .. oh another thing! - Would be really decent that a Webpage would come up saying, "These sites are being overhauled at present . . . .. " - yeah? Other than ScreenBlast site which doesn't make any reference to out beloved Vegas - yeah?

. . . .. now where did i out my presentations on Customer Care? . . . .

Grazie

I agree with you Grazie. I thought Sony pulled the plug on this forum. That would be a mistake for Sony.

The Cow site was down for awhile also?

Hiyah Stiffs! - Yeeessss . . . . this Forum provides me with much technical support. I would dread to think if I needed to call Tech Servs from here in the UK. This in itself would "cost" SONY/Vegas alot of $$$ in personnel - yeah?

Apart from anything else, we, on this Forum can call upon a wide range of technical DV-end-user talents for dealing with many, many issues AND we have the option of "posting" examples of problems over at Chienworks site - thanks Kells!

All told this makes this Forum THE best technical site I've yet come across, well at least for Vegas.

. . .and another thing .. . . it gives me a break from having my head inserted up my rear end, during loooooong spells at the flat screens - yeah? - Got me black coffee as I type this . . .

Best regards,

Grazie

I also was nervous for a moment when I was directed to ScreenBlast. I called Sony Pictures customer service and asked about the Vegas web site. The gentlemen on the phone was courteous and professional and explained that they were having problems and it should be back up in a few hours.

Although I was discouraged over the site being down, I was happy that I received a reasonable response in a professional and helpful manner.

Yeah back in business here, but now when you try and go to the DMN forums you get an error of "www.dmnforums.com not found"

Hmmm...did Sony take that over too?
