horizontal artifact

I'm having a hard time finding info in the posts--

I've got a scene that I shot that has a horizontally slatted bamboo curtain in the backround, I just didn't think about it at the time, as it was working quite well for diffusion purposes-- Anyway...You guessed it, It's moving all over the place, swirling around like a Timothy Leary flashback!!!

Is there any thing I can do in Vegas to remove this???

Would interpolating the fields help?

Please help, Thanks AJ

Yes,
apply a Gaussian Blur, vertical only at around 0.001.
If that makes the image a tad too soft you can duplicate the track, make one of the tracks the one with the GB and use a mask so the GB is only applied to the problem area. This assumes a locked off shot else you might be doing a fair bit of work.

Hey Bob,

Thanks for the info, it works great, I copied the file, used cookie cutter, and the blur...Thanks a mill. -AJ
