How can I copy a track (and it's properties)

I want to do this between two veg files (pan/crop, effx, o-levels). Yes, I looked at Excalibur and Ultimate S first : ) and did not see anything relating to track level.

Right click the track, and choose "duplicate"
Everything associated with that track will be duplicated.

Well, there's no elegant way to do it.

You can copy/paste all your events en masse and they will maintain their relative positions.
Envelopes can also be copied and pasted if you start with the Envelop Edit Tool to highlight the points.

The track FX can be saved as an FX Chain. Track motion settings can be saved as presets.

Also, you can delete everything else in the project and save it as a new veg and build around it.

Scripting cannot copy effects because it cannot see the various settings. What if you just use a nested VEG?

The answer here is to use a nested file. What I would do, would be to simply go into the file that you have the track that you want to duplicate, immediately go to "file, Save As" and save it as "nested track"

Then I would proceed to select all but that track and delete them. Thus giving you just the track you are interested in.

Save it again (don't have to do save as this time) and simply nest that file into your other project.
