Hi,
I have an odd problem: in Vegas 21, every time I insert a new video track, the track has Color Grade added and activated, and the Color Grade's default setting makes the footage I add to the track look bad. Since I don't need to use Color Grade on this project, I have to disable or remove the Color Grade effect, or go into the Color Grade's settings and select the None preset for Effect Level to make the footage look correct.
Since I don't want to use Color Grade on this project, I'd rather Vegas didn't keep adding and activating it for me.
Can anyone tell me how I can...
...prevent Vegas from adding the Color Grade effect when I insert a new video track? Or...
...if Vegas has to add the Color Grade effect, can I prevent it from enabling it automatically? Or...
...can I change the Color Grade's default setting so it does not affect my video footage until I want to affect it?
I currently have little to no experience using Vegas' Color Grade tool, and I don't have the time to learn it just yet, so for now, I just want Vegas to stop forcing it into my project and negatively affecting my footage.
Thanks in advance for any helpful advice! 🐱
