How can I use VirtualDub (w/Auto levels) on my DV clips and then import back to Vegas without losing any quality?

I've captured about 150 small clips from my MiniDV camcorder and would like to have the color levels automatically set. I'm aware that there is a Vegas Plugin for this but if I used it I would have to use it on every single clip individually.

So, what I'm thinking is that I could use VirtualDub to combine all 150 clips into one single clip and have it run auto levels on them.

My only concern is that VirtualDub will re-encode the video files and I'll lose quality.

Can I do what I'm trying to do without losing any quality?

why not import all clips onto one track in Vegas, and apply the FX to the track

Or use the plug as an Video Output FX to affect your whole project!?

Oh, I didn't know I could do that.

I thought the auto-levels plug-in only worked on a per-event (is that the right term?) basis. I didn't know I could apply it to the entire project.

Thanks!

Just about any plugin can be applied to clips in the media pool, events on the timeline, tracks, busses, or the whole project.
