How convert 60 JPEG images into a moving background in VV3?

I have 60 JPEG images that will create a moving background for titles when the images are blended together and viewed sequentially as one frame per image. How do I get VV3 to place each JPEG into a single frame?

The VV3 function that places a series of still images into a slideshow freezes each image for a second or so. That causes the background to view in steps, not smoothly. What I need is a way to run the 60 images smoothly so that I can then loop the one second into a longer animated background.

I'm guessing that VV3 contains some way to do this, but I haven't found it yet.

Thanks

check Vegas online help, keyword: Still image sequence

It does.

Make sure the stills are numbered in a sequential fashion. Bring up File > Open. Get the first file selected (in Windows XP, right click on it to get it selected, or use keyboard navigation), check "Open still image sequence". Hit OK. Set the frame rate to 60 (or, 59.94 to sync to NTSC). Set field order to "progressive". Hit OK. Done. If you are outputting to NTSC, Vegas will use one field from each image to produce interlaced 30i video.

Thank you, SonicDennis, it works just as you say. Your info was much better than that contained in the Help file.
