I <think> Grazie was trying to respond to my question here (although I might be wrong?
Question I have for you (kentwolf) now is ... how do I create a transparent background/alpha (I tried just deleting the background and then I have that problem with the white border around the text)
The deleting of the background should not actually *add* an outline to your text. I believe it may just show what was already there. Maybe you just didn't see it until you deleted the color background.
With respect to deleting the color background from a project. I do it all the time. There should not be a problem with that at all.
Wolfie . .yes I know that . . Go back one step . ..I want to ADD the Boris Graf FX to the Sony "Plug-In Chooser" as a "selectable" FX . .. how do I do that?
Liam, and no I wasn't trying to answer your question .. . just that you got me going AGAIN with BG3 - still a Dark Art for me - and I didn't want to hijack your thread . ..
So Guys, how - In all that is George Lucas - do I get the BG3 FX as part of the Sony "Plug-In Chooser" menu?
>>...I want to ADD the Boris Graf FX to the Sony "Plug-In Chooser"
I see. (I assume you mean Plug In Manager.)
Previously, I never looked for Graffitti there, but I lknow Red 3GL is there.
If it's not there by virtue of the Graffitti install, it may possibly not be useable there. The Lite version that ships with Vegas, I can' answer for.
For the full version, if it's showing in the FX section of the workspace, it should be in the Plug In Manger as well. If it's not, you may want to check that you installed it in the correct folder.
I believe the full version of Graffitti defaults to the Vegas 4.0 directories.
KW thanks - I'm looking at V5b now .. . I've clicked on the "plug" icon on the event and the "title" in the menu that comes up is "Plug-In Chooser - Video Event FX".
Oh, the default install is for V4? Ok. I'm now using V5b .. . How do I get BG3 into this "Plug-In Chooser - Video Event FX" menu? I can see it in my copy of V4 but not V5.
Wolfie sorry for nit being explicit - I've started a re-edited title post. Hopfully this will "catch" the eye of others who have got through this one - thanks again,
Or... just a wild guess (and I accept no responsibility for "issues") how about copying all the stuff that is in the V4 plugin area (related to Graffiti) into the appropriate folder on V5.
Well.. if is any consolation.. I just copied the graffiti dll's from my V5 folder into my V4 folder.. and Graffiti just appeared in my V4 Plug-in chooser.
