How do I copy audio from Camera 2 and paste it

I am trying to copy audio from Cam 2 and past it to a gap in Cam 3's audio track. I plan on doing a multi-cam and I heard it is good to just have one continuous channel of audio, I would like to fill in a couple of gaps in Cam 3's audio track. Every time I try to select the audio on Cam 2, it selects the entire track, I only want 3 minutes. Is there a way to copy a 3 minute section and paste it to Cam 3. Also I do not want to cut it out of Cam 2, just copy it and paste it.

BTW, Cam 3 is going to be my primary ambient sound track.

Use the S key to split the audio at the IN and OUT points you require.

Select ignore event Grouping (Ctrl+Shift+U) then selct the audio you want. Copy and paste it to the Cam 3 track
