How do I create a playable image on my HD

I would like to some-how create a file from my SD project on my HD or a USB stick that I can then play using Windows Media Player or VLC.

I tried creating an iso file from the Blu-Ray options but that didn't seem to work.

I would like to do this so that I can easily demo past projects to prospective clients (ie I need the menu interactivity of a standard DVD, not just a playable video file)

Can anybody help?

If you have a SD project, why are you making a blu-ray ISO?

Make a DVD in the normal way but just prepare it, rather than burn to a disc. Then using VLC, open the VIDEO_TS folder or the VIDEO_TS.IFO file within it.

Windows Media Player is too hard for me to drive these days. It seems to want you to set up a play list first, which I can't be bothered doing.

Thanks for that Peter.

I do have to agree with regard to WMP!
