How do I delete this clip

I have a still on the timeline that I can't get to delete. I had been playing with the pan/crop tool on it but would prefer to delete it. I can click on any other clip on the timeline & hit delete but on this clip nothing happens. I have even tried dropping a longer clip on top of this clip but it appears that the clip I add is underneath. How do you delete this stuborn clip?

You can try deleting it from the media pool and then readding it to the project.

You may want to click on Pan/Crop and clear all keyframes and then try deleting it.

1 - Expand it - "grab-edge drag it" open - then delete.

2 - Do you need it in the project? Locate it in Media Pool and delete it from there. Can you see the name in t/l? Use "Show active takes Information in events" will show the name in the t/l.

Grazie

My guess is that you have accidentally locked the event. This means that you cannot move or delete that event.

Select the event, right-click, and then select Switches. You should see "Lock" on the fly-out menu. If there is a check mark next to the word "lock" then this is your problem. Click on the word "Lock" to disable this feature and you should then be able to delete the event.

Thanks John. I must have inadvertantly turned lock on when trying to use the pan/crop tool.
