Hello and good morning vegas community

I've some problem that I've facing it for too long

I wanna ask, is it possible to delete ONLY video and not audio track? Because when I'm selecting the part where I want the only audio and not video, and I press del(delete)key and both audio and video got removed. How do I seperate them both? It also move the audio when I was dragging/moving the video to other frame. Please help

Thank you :)

You need to 'Ungroup' the video and audio events so that each are independent of the other. To do this, highlight both the video and audio events and hit 'U' on the keyboard, then highlight just the video event and then delete. The audio event will remain. Also, the audio event will not move on the timeline when you move the video event (and vice versa) unless you have Ripple activated.

To group events together, highlight the events that you want to be grouped and then hit 'G' on the keyboard.

Right click the event, go "Group => Remove from" to ungroup video and audio. Or just press "U" on keyboard.

Edit:

Nevermind, Dexcon beat me to it. :)
