How do I do this?

I want to open with a video clip and when it's done, go to the main menu page from the clip without having to hit any buttons.

File - Properties - Introductory media. Set the video and audio files and they will play BEFORE the main menu appears.

Sure - if you render it as a movie in Vegas and make it your introductory media.
