How do I encode MPEG2 with PCM audio

I know that there has to be a simple way to do this, but I can't find it. I'm new to Vegas 4.0 (and I love it). When I render to DVD-MPEG2 the audio is rendered as MPEG1 audio. My authoring program (DVD Workshop) wants PCM (wav?) audio which is the standard for North American DVDs. Workshop then has to re-render the Muxed MPEG2 file to PCM (a huge waste of time). How do I get Vegas to render my MPEG2 files audio as PCM? I can't find this option when I use the "custom" tabs.

There is no way to render an MPEG file with muxed PCM or AC-3 from Vegas. PCM or AC-3 audio requires a separate render pass. DVD Architect (or your DVD app) will marry these back together.
