I have dlls that will not register after following all standard procedures.

The only actual official support for Vegas now is the dead end of empty faq cul de sac, it's pretty derelict.

@Chuzz. - Well, that's a Royal PITA, and no mistake! What plug-ins are now not working?
Here is mine that worked in previous Vegas Versions and now works in VP17:

It would probably help to know WHAT plugins.
The ones I'm aware of which tends to be a PITA which involves a few hoops to jump through is the Sony Noise Reduction plugin and the Sony AC3 Dolby Digital Pro encoder plugin. Some have gotten them to work, but I still haven't quite figured out all those hoops, but I haven't had to use either of them recently so it's low on my priority list of problem solving. I get exhausted reading 500 posts only to learn it's some secret society handshake procedure that needs to be performed where Magix intentionally broke it due to licensing restrictions. Someone just post a damn step-by-step and links to the necessary files already.
