How Do I Get Rid Of The Gray Blocks During Playback??

This baffles me. First here's the set up:
Sony Vaio
866 PIII, 256MB, WIN MELLINIUM
40 GIGS (7200RPM)

No Dropped Frames during captures but noticing patchy like blocks during playback on SF's "Video Capture".
Rendered at NTSC DV and still the same problem. It's only 13 minutes short. Can anyone help?

PS. Read earlier topics but didn't really get any true answers...

#1, make sure DMA is on for you hard drives.

#2: look at your system IRQs. If you have too many items on
9 OR your video display and 1394 share the same IRQ, try
moving PCI devices to different irqs. Ideally, 1394,
drives, and video display card all have separate IRQs.

I believe in ME you can use Windows Device Manager to
resolve irq conflicts by assigning a different IRQ to each
of the conflicting devices.
