how do I get rid of this error?

I installed the Vegasaur demo and later had to do a system restore. Now VP10 suggests I reinstall it but I can't because it was the demo (and I don't think I want to buy it).
Is there a way to let VP10 know this?

You can safely install it again and then go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and uninstall it (do not run Vegas). That's it.

Thanks very much, I got an error saying it couldn't be installed but it did well enough I could uninstall it in control panel.

Actually even after uninstall let me uninstall I still get the error when opening VP10

OK, delete it manually: open Windows Explorer, enter C:\ProgramData\Sony\Vegas Pro\Application Extensions to the address bar, press Enter. Delete vegasaur.loader.dll
