How do I insert chapter markers to my media?

I am very new at creating dvds in general so please be kind. I need some steps to insert chapter markers into my video. I have a chapter selection menu, but when the user selects "play" I want them to be able to skip to the next chapter. So far it just reverts back to the intro.

Place markers on your timeline by pushing "M." Name them however you wish. Export the markers with your render.

You can insert markers in Vegas before rendering or directly in DVD Arch. The former is better so that you can edit your video without having to reinsert the markers.

Do it in Vegas so you will have precise cuts.
