how do I link titles?

Mad_Clown wrote on 9/13/2004, 4:53 PM
Whenever I try to go back to the previous title it won't take me back, instead it just restarts the current title im on. The way I have my dvd set up is each title is a different episode of the dvd and whenever I want to go back to the previous title (episode) it wont take me, I always have to go back to the menu which is annoying.

Anyone have any help for me?

If you don't have DVD version 2, then upgrade. It lets you set end actions, which will do exactly what you are asking for. Version 1 did not have this capability.

I have version 2 but what i mean is when I press the button to go back it wont take me back to the previous title but just keeps restarting at the beginning the the title im currently on. I already have it set so at the end of the title it will take me to the next but the problem is going back manually with the remote.

In DVD Architect, was all your video contained in one big MPEG-2 file, or did you use a bunch of separate MPEG-2 files?

If you used one big MPEG-2 file (or imported a single AVI file and had DVDA render it to MPEG-2), then the inability to go back to previous chapters with your remote is probably a function of your player, and I don't have a solution for that. Also, most players require you to press the "chapter back" button twice, fairly quickly, or else you just go back to the beginning of the current chapter.

If you created your DVD from multiple MPEG-2 (or AVI) files, then read this post for a solution:
