Is it recorded asa stereo track with only left sounding, or is it a mono track?

Sorry, I should have specified. It was recorded as a stero track, but only one cable was plugged in, so sound only comes out of the right speaker.

Right-click on the track header > Duplicate Track.

Right-click the event in each track > Channels > Right Only or Combine.

Now pan each track right and left, you pay also want to right-click the pan fader and select Constant power.

You won't have true stereo since it wasn't recorded as such but it will feed both speakers.

Alternatively you could skip the "Duplicate Track step thes stop with "Combine" and have a mono track feeding both speakers.

Or, simpler yet, Channels -> Right Only. Done. Doesn't matter whether you render to mono or stereo. if you render to stereo you'll have the original right channel equally in both channels. No duplication or panning necessary.
