How do I pack a video / shorten

I have here an MPEG2 file, 30 mintues of the same object. I'd like to edit this file, to have whole content of 30 mintues in maybe 5 mintues? So I want to playback it really fast, is his possible in Vegas and how?

Apply both a Velocity Envelope and adjust the Playback rate and you can get up to 1200x speed increase.

Where can I find "Velocity Envelope" in Vegas6? And can I render the file with its new speed?

Right-click the video event, choose "Insert/Remove Envelopes", and then pick the Velocity Envelope.
