how do i restore default screen view?

~VMS plat8 user. cruising along fine thru projects. tonight i must have clicked something accidentally and changed the way my screen displays:

clicking on pan/crop icon in event no longer gives me a nice pop upenlarged workspace but now shoves it into a tab where it is tiny.

tried several things like view and display preferences to no avail. is there a way to restore default screenview?

Not sure if I understand correctly, but try grabbing the window by the 6 dots in the upper left hand corner and drag it away from where it sounds like it might have docked. Then you can click and drag like any other window to change it's size. Let us know if that is it. Cin
