How do I set HSV to be the default?

Every time I try to change the color of text using the Text and Titles tool it opens in RGB
But I don't want to use RGB I want to use HSV
There has to be a way to fix this because it worked in Movie Studio Platinum.

On a related note, is there a way to change the preset "Insert Text Media" opens with?

Thanks for your help

Do you mean HSL?
I know of no way to change the default behavior from native RGB.
I tried creating a preset using HSL but that didn't work either.

No it's HSV it's got a spectrum of colors at the top and a slider to the side that goes from white to black.

But I imagine the solution to both would be the same

It was the default for Movie Studio Platinum. I was always 1 click away from a black outline around white text, now I'm 3 clicks away and it's really tiresome.

Do not know the development cycle of Movie Studio and what features were there from time to time.

DO note that VegasPro over versions 8 thru 13 have changed the dialogues of color settings over time. Do not think there ever was a lock button to hold it one setting or the other.

Also in VegasPro you can note differences between the titlers and Pro-Type Titler application which adds to the confusion of being locked into a mode but no default value exists thru out.
