ive made a slide show of my picture in to an mpeg clip and now about to store it on to dvd so i can watch it on my stand alone player.

What i want it a back up of all the picture as jpg files so if ever i wanted to print any of them off i could just find the file.

Any idea how i would store them?

thanks

You want to store your SOURCE files you made the movie from?

Then I'd suggest any of the many database like applications. For example ACDSee is a good one. ThumbsUp is another. The main purpose of such applications is to organize. I have lots of stills. Approaching 100,000. I put them in various sub folders then ACDSee displays them as a page full of thumbnails. So if you want you could have one giant dababase with all your images or as many mini ones under one folder and its a simple matter to browse them all one after the other without having to open each seperately.

You can control how many appear at once on screen by adjusting the size. Also a neat little application for moving the files around, printing from, etc.. Makes it easy to find.

It too makes simpler slide shows, and contact sheets. One of the features I like is you have the option to write notes for each image. That way you can easily switch back and forth between a detailed text descriptions of all your images and pages of thumbnails.
