How do you burn audio CD w/ bonus video mpg. I'd like to make a 14 song audio CD and add a bonus video track.

I have tried DAO method per the help file but it only seems to give audio.

Of course I'd like to audio to work in home CD players as well as PCs.

Can it be done. The big kids do it all the time. I have SF5, AcidPro3, VA1, and VV3

Thanks

Did you by any chance get Adaptec (Roxio) Easy CD Creator with your CD burner? Check out the "CD Extra" layout. I think that may be what you're looking for.

This is usually done in a multi session burning process, where the audio tracks are one session and then the mpeg is another session, or CD extra like the previous post mentioned. Most CD burning software has multi-session options or a CD extra template. CD extra will usually write the data track (ie your mpeg) as the first track followed by the audio. Older CD players will attempt to play this data track as an audio track and send out some loud unpleasant noises. If you write using the multi-session technique, you can write the audio first (ie the first session) and then the data track will be the last track on the disc and usually does not play because the CD player reads the TOC (table of contents) from the audio session and it does not contain the data track.

Thanks for the input.

So it sounds like you're saying the Sonic Foundry stuff I have (SF5, VApro1, VV3, and AcidPro3) will not do what I'm after,

And, yes, I need to put the bonus 4 minute music video at the end of my bands 14 song CD so older players will not unsuccessfully try to play the music video first.
