how do you freeze frame on a video?

I was wondering if I would be able to play a video and then freeze it on a certain frame for a couple of seconds.

I have a video of a skier making a jump, and I want to freeze him in the air and point text at him. Is that possible?

Click on Search above this message. Write freeze in the appropriate box, select Vegas - video topics, and then Search. Take it from there.

Don't mean to be patronizing - but this question has been answered a lot on the forum. And the search engine is not a bad one.

Okay, basically you want to add a velocity envelope, add a few points and pull - or set - them to zero or whatever. Play a round with it for a while. it's very entertaining.
