How do you insert multiple crossfades

I have about 80 video clips on the timeline, approximately 30 seconds each. I would like to insert a 1 second crossfade between each clip. I realize that I could have done this automatically when bringing each clip onto the timeline, but I had to edit each event down to 30 seconds, so that wasn't an option.

Is there a way to insert multiple crossfades across the timeline using the tools supplied with Vegas, or do I need to download a plugin?

Thanks

I believe the easiest way to do this would be to use a script called "Apply transitions."

It is available many areas, sundance sight, scripts forum or on my web page bundled with all the other free ones that I could find. www.calderwood.org

Excalibur makes this really fast and easy. Works great! Well worth the (small) price.
