You need to navigate into the media that you want to insert the additional track too.
Sounds like you are at the menu level, and you can't insert additional tracks on a menu. So, double click on the movie in the project layout pane - that will take you into the movie at which point you can insert additional tracks.
First, Grazie, we need to know precisely what you're trying to do. DVDA doesn't utilize "tracks" the same way Vegas does. Like, in Vegas, you build up a single video piece out of multiple tracks. In DVDA, however, each track is a separate stream that the viewer can switch between -- ie, alternate angles for video and alternate languages for audio.
And far as I can recall, none of the icons with plus signs are related to any of that.
Thanks Scott. That's what I did "First" the big yellow "+" sign. If it's there, and if it ain't greyed out my logic - Rob - is that I CAN use it. Well I can't. And that is the frustrating thing. The NEXT frustrating thing is that the drop down IS greyed out!
What I want to do? Having "added" some background music to the Menu, that works and NOW seeing the Big Yellow "+" Sign I want to add a further track for a "fun" v/o I want to add.
So, it would appear I can't add a further Audio track to a Menu, even though there IS a live ICON suggesting I can. I have consumed 4 hours on this.
Sorry, menus can only have one audio or video track. The solution to your dilema is to create a second menu that looks like the first and change the audio track.
