How do you install NewDeshaker on Win7 64bit?

I tried installing VirtualDub but the installer was unable to write to c:\Program Files\VirtualDub, so I installed to a temporary folder and mannually copied the files there, (after giving myself permission to do so). Should this have been to the C:\Program Files (x86)\ folder instead?

What files should be where, and how should I invoke NewDeshaker?

I have been using JM's old Deshaker script, but I forgot what I did to get that going, Should I clear that out or can it stay?

I am using Vegas 9.0c 64 bit

To avoid problems I always install VirtualDub in C:\VirtualDub - on all my machines (both XP and Win 7 64).

OK, so here is what I did. I installed New Deshaker on a Win XP 32 bit machine with Vegas Pro 9.0. I noticed that the installer for version 8 (there is none for version 9) wanted to install into a version 8 folder, but I redirected it to
C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 9.0\Script Menu

I then compared this installation with that on Win 7 64 bit and noticed that the New Deshaker files were not installed anywhere. I unzipped the zipped version of the download and copied the following files:
New Deshaker.png
New Deshaker.dll.config
New Deshaker.dll
to the Script Menu folder as above.

I also put VirtualDub into its own folder under C: as suggested in the previous post. When you invoke New Deshaker in the Tools>Scripting menu, you can point New Deshaker to the location of VirtualDub.exe and Deshaker.vds, both of which are in the VirtualDub folder.

You also specify a temporary render folder at the same time.
