Not sure what instructions you're reading, but to get a menu to loop, make sure you're looking at that menu in the workspace and go to the Menu Page Properties window. There, select the End Action tab and set Command to "Loop."

Note that you don't make the background loop so much as make the menu itself loop (which, in turn, loops the background). So anything else on your menu, including any animated buttons if you have them, will loop at the same time.

Are you guys talking about the same thing?

Noah, are you trying to get the menu to play just a continuous loop of video or audio in the background, or is there something else you're trying to make loop?

To create a looping menu background, you go to Menu Page Properties, General and set the Menu Length to Specify -- then set the Length.

The default value for the Command setting is "Hold." Do you see the word "Hold" to the right of the word "Command"? When you click either one in order to ready the "Command" setting to be changed, you should see an arrow to the right of the word "Hold" -- this indicates that "Hold" is part of a dropdown list. You can click the word "Hold" or the arrow to reveal the other possible values (you should choose "Loop").

If you don't see "Hold" or the arrow, then you've probably accidentally resized the column for the setting values. Hover your mouse over the far right edge of that window until the cursor becomes two vertical lines with arrows pointing left and right. Then click and drag to the left to reveal the setting values. Now click "Hold" and choose "Loop" from the option list.

If this still doesn't help, please post a screenshot of your screen (everything including the Menu Page Properties window with the End Action tab selected) so we can see what may be wrong.

Trust me, it's the size.

See that faint line down the side way on the right? That line divides two columns -- the setting names on the left, the setting values on the right. Hover your mouse over that line as I described above, click, and drag to the left to reveal the second column.

Need more info to help with your "not letting import video" problem.
