How do you restore audio to video event

I've ungrouped the audio from a video event and deleted the audio. Later I decide I want the audio back. How do I do that easily? I generally don't use the trimmer window. I know I can drag another instance of the event from the media pool, trim it to the same length and copy/paste event attributes to reapply any fx.

In SpeedEDIT, I can just right click the event (video clip) and select "enable audio" and the original audio is restored on the timeline. I couldn't find anything in the Vegas help file. I must be missing something really simple.

Thanks
Mark

There are some scripts that do this. Check the Vegas Scripting forum, or look on www.vasst.com.

Otherwise, you can highlight the clip, right-click and select "Open in Trimmer." Then drag both tracks back to the timeline.

If it's pink it's out of sync.

You can right-click the audio, then Sychronize> By Moving.
