The animations are fixed and based on the generated media length. I have slowed down the animation once (FallDown) by making the generated length longer than the event. Quicker I don't see how you can do it except with a couple of events. One with the animation and another that is static. In the first trim out the fade out in your circumstance.

The Protype titler has the exact same animations and they are implemented will the normal keyframed controls of the titler so you can edit/alter the effect as you see fit.

It is a shame the T&T animations have no control. It makes them not so useful depending on the animation. The fly in you reference has three things going on. The fade out at the end on that one is silly since one can do this via an event fade. The scale in the middle can also be done in T&T. Why put those in the animation. The fly in part is the one thing unique.

Without any control Sony could have split this control into two items. Animation IN and animation OUT. That would at least be slightly more useful and allow some mixing of in and out effects. In this example the IN animation would be the letter/word/line fly in part. When broken down into something simply then it could be timed, like 20% of media length.
