How is this title effect achieved please? (link)

Can somebody point me in the right direction on how to do the title effect this guy achieves between 0.17 and 0.32.

I don't even know where to start. Is it the pro type titler in vegas or is it achievable with some kind of track motion or event pan crop effect in vegas /VMS?

Add 'media' <text, in the properties select 'effects'<deformation (squish from right).

Then use pan and crop to make it fly from right to left, and also to make it grow from infinitely small to normal size, both using keyframes, of course (you only need two keyframes, start and finish).
