HOW? Live HDV capture (but w/ MOTU audio capture)

I just discovered that Vegas 7e will allow me to capture live footage via firewire from my HV20 and at the same time capture audio on a track from my MOTU Traveler. But I have to start the video capture first, then start the audio recording of the track and then manually sync everything up afterwards. Not much fun.

Is there any capture software that will allow me to capture video from the camera and audio from the MOTU with the press of a single record button and that will record the audio and video in sync to a single A/V file?

Nathan -

I do this often with regular DV, but have not found a way to start both simultaneously. I use two projects - one for the audio & one for the video (through separate firwire cards on the same computer). I typically nest the audio project back into the video project & then easily go back & tweak the audio as desired. These projects run about an hour fifteen each.

My sync is pretty easy - I start both within seconds of each other and it's pretty easy to line up using the peaks.
