How Many Vegas Users

This is quote for one of the moderators on the Liquid forum:

"I did see a figure once for Liquid that stated about 100,000 registered users. How many pirated copies there are I don't know but I suspect plenty judging by the pirate websites. Personally, I doubt there are 100,000 Vegas users, but I really don't know so again, that is just my opinion and of absolutely no value."

So do we have any idea of how many Vegas users there are?

I think I remember hearing the figure 150,000 from a Sony rep at the last NAB. We were talking about Europe at the time, so that figure may be users in Europe alone. I don't remember exactly, so don't quote me...

I was going to say something but I don't feel like getting banned or moderated again. I've learned through experience on a number of occasions now, that freedom of speech is not really something that's well recognized on the Avid board!
