How Much footage can Vegas 8 handle

I'm putting together a project that will eventually have about 20-30 hours of interview footage. I've done similar projects with V7, but it was with SD. Now, I'm using HDV footage, captured via Cineform FilmScan setting with the Cineform smart rendering enabled. I've loaded up about 6 hours already, and each hour is now about 40 GB on my hard drives. That's a huge amount of data. What are the largest amounts of raw footage that anyone has put into a V8 project successfully?

I've got 110 hours online, on my current feature movie project.
HDV from Z1u and SD footage from PD-170 - all on 4 - 500 gig SATA hard drives (packed to the fullest)

Works flawlessly - we don't even think about it.

BTW - we have three workstations hooked up to the drives over a gigabit ethernet, and it plays pretty darn well. Have had some problems digitizing over the ethernet, but playback is totally usable.
