I've got CD Architect and I'm thinking of picking up another HP burner (my current one goes back to 98). Do you think CD Architect will still be okay with the newer HP burners?
You may want to use the MMC driver in CD architect on your HP burner that you have now and see if you are successful burning. The MMC driver is a multi driver that is supported by all MMC Compliant drives. So I'm willing to bet if your older HP drive works with that driver, then chances are a newer HP drive would also work using that driver.
Good Luck, thus far I'm sticking with my Plextor 8/20 drive that is supported by CD architect. It's the best and fastest of the supported drives and 8X is pretty quick for me.
