Hello,

Can anyone advise on how to achieve the smooth fast-slow-fast editing technique in the link below using Movie Studio?

I guess there must be a name for this particular effect.

Have you tried just slicing your movie into short segments and applying fast and slow time stretches to it?

Thanks for the reply. I have done as you suggested but my lack of editing experience didn't yield a smooth result. Perhaps I need more practice! I was hoping that there was simpler way of a achieving this effect - maybe a plugin.
