How to add text WITHOUT BACKGROUND in Vegas 4 ?

Hi All.
I'm a newbie, and I have a simple question only : How to add text Without Background in Vegas 4? Please help me to add text like a subtitle, thanks.

Just use the "Text" generated media, with a transparent background (it shows up as a checkerboard in the preview). Place this on a track above your main track.
