There are hundreds of different fluorescent types, and none except the most expensive have anything approaching linear color curves.

If you didn't shoot a grayscale reference, your best bet is to correct for memory colors (whites, flesh tones, dark neutrals), and not expect too much improvement.

If you are able to post an example of the original somewhere, even a frame grab, there are a few geeky types here (including me) who would be glad to take a look at it. Experience tells me you'll get a variety of opinions, some of which may help.

Got that X-Files "sickly yellow/green"? Did you film any white? Use Colour Corrector and sample that white into the Wheel on the right.
