How to apply custom filter repeatedly

I've just finished editing a 45-minute 4-camera production and used VASST's multicam (in Ultimate S 2) for the first time. I'm really impressed by how efficient it makes the whole process and how flexible it is for changing cameras after doing the first rough cut.

My problem is, the fourth camera was shot separately at a repeat performance to get some shots we missed with the three cameras the previous day. The lighting is different, because the first performance was in the evening and the second was a matinee. It was shot in a church sanctuary with only partially shaded windows so the fourth camera in some, but not all angles, is a little flat, requiring a contrast boost.

I've set and saved a custom color curves setting that fixes it. I'd like to quickly apply that same setting to each instance of the event that needs it. Is there a quick way of doing this? I know I can do five mouse movements and clicks for each occurrence. I was hoping there is a "one click" method.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Mark

The easiest way would be to apply the filter in the Media Pool/Project Media bin, to the 4th camera clip. this would then be part of any instance of any media derived from that clip.
Another method is to apply it to the first event on the fourth camera track, then copy that event, select all other events on that track to end, then Paste Event Attributes. But you must do this before running step 2 of the Ultimate S camera process.
Were it me, I'd just do it in the Project Media bin.

Once you save a preset, it shows as a separate icon in your video FX tab. You can easily drag and drop it onto your timeline events from there.

Thanks Douglas, that hit the spot!

Gary, is there a way to drag and drop an FX onto an event without having the FX window open which as you know requires an extra mouse movement and click to close?

Just press and hold the Shift key down before letting go of the mouse button when you apply the effect.

Hold the SHIFT key when you drag the preset to the clip, this prevents the FX window from ever opening.
LOL, Yesmaestro beat me to the post. :-)
