You can't batch render, but you can open multiple copies of Vegas and have them each render at the same time. Not that efficient, but it does allow you to do take a render-snooze.
Any chance of incorporating batch rendering into VV3 or into the Batch Converter? It would be nice to set up veg files and let them render overnight without having to open other copies of VV3. One way to handle this would be to be able to set up veg files that could be batch rendered using the Batch Converter. It would also be more efficient to allow multiple templates to be applied to multiple AVIs in the Batch Converter. In other words, let's say that I want to create 5 veg files to render to AVIs for use later, and then create a set of encodes at various levels (e.g., WMT 56, 100, 300, 700 & Real 56, 100, 300, 700) with these AVIs. The Batch Converter only allows the use of one template per operation and does not allow for AVI creation or for use of veg files. I know these comments are all lumped together. I'd appreciate hearing about your future plans. thanks.
