Hi Phil,

I think the clip bins in Vegas Capture are elements of the .sfvidcap file.

You might create a vidcap file that has all your preferences and bins, and "save-as" to any location.

Thanks for the reply, but that doesn't seem to do it. No matter where I save the .sfvidcap file, clips are still captured into my My Documents folder, which is on my C drive, which is nearly full. I want captured clips to go on my E drive. I could change the location of My Documents I guess, but there *has* to be a way to specify this in Vegas.. ?

Are you talking about the Capture folder?
Go to video capture, then options, then disk management and then uncheck c:\ and then hit the add folder and point to the new disk drive.

yes, that's exactly what I was looking for... Wow, that's really buried.
Thanks!

Ohhhhh,

I actually thought you wanted to relocate the "bins" (picons & such)... not just where the media gets stored.

As you see, they can be different places. :)

(Confusing at times, but handy for backup of project files.)

You might also re-locate where your other media folders are located using the project properties and prefs... might be better if they were off the system drive too.
