How to combine clips

I am just a new user in VF (came from Studio 8 and had enough), love this product, but looking forward to upgrade to Screenblast Movie Box 3.0 because of the DVD capabilities.
Here is my question, is there any way to combine clips after you have split it in the timeline? As I said, studio had a “combine” function but not sure about VF.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As I understand it, the "combine" feature in Studio referred to combining two adjacent clips among you captured clips and not to combining two clips into one on the timeline.

And, if that's the case then, no, Screenblast/Video Factory won't combine two clips in its Media Pool into one.

If, on the other hand, you've sliced an event on your timeline and you'd like to get rid of the cut, the simplest solution is to just delete one of the two pieces and then extend (by dragging) the other half of the clip.

Grouping: Another way is to select the events on the T/L and press G - that's a Group.
