How to copy event/fx attributes to new vid track?

I just cant do it! Can someone give me some pionters as to how I should be able to copy/paste all the attribues, including fx, of a small scene to another video track? I'm just a little dumbfounded! LOL! Do I need to lock in some of the selection tools?

Here's what I do...

Set the effects you want, set a keyframe. If there is no change in the event, then you only need to set the first keyframe. Now RIGHT Click over the diamond on the FX timeline. Select COPY. Go to the first keyframe on your next event or track. Right click on first keyframe, select PASTE. Of course you need to apply whatever filter you wish to the new event PRIOR to pasting.

If you use the same effect over and over then once you got an effect you like you can make your own presets.

Or if you're going to do the same effects (even a whole bunch) all the same way then drop the FX filters on the track header NOT the indvidual events. This way everything on the track will take on the settings of the filters.
